Our victory was primarily a result of building a strong coalition of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents from various racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds around the common goals of improving our schools and doing what is right for students, parents, teachers, and taxpayers in Fort Bend ISD.

David is a Christian, husband & father who wants to help all students take advantage of the incredible opportunities in Fort Bend & Houston.
David grew up in Arkansas, played basketball at the University of the Ozarks and has a degree in Political Science. He works in commercial insurance.
Katie grew up in Dallas and played basketball at Furman University. David and Katie were married in 2011 and have two kids in Fort Bend ISD schools.
The Hamiltons’ third grade son has autism, which gives David experience with both the strengths and the areas for improvement in Fort Bend ISD SPED.
